The Music Box Theatre hosts MusicEmotion, a digital screening of classical music performed at Teatro Alla Scala in Milan. Today's screening is a program of Verdi compositions, including Nabucco, staged at the St. Margarethen opera festival in Austria. The program begins at 11:30am. Forgotten Chicago leads a bike tour of Avondale today, departing at noon from the Belmont Blue Line station, 3355 W. Belmont Ave. Tickets are $15 in advance; no walk-ups. You must sign a liability waiver before you leave.
The Green Music Festival runs from noon to 10pm today and Sunday at Wicker Park and on Damen Avenue between North and Schiller. Listen to bands on two stages while also checking out eco-minded vendors, services, demos, crafts and family activities. $5 suggested donation.

The second annual Chicago Craft Beer Festival at St. Michael's Church, 1633 N. Cleveland Ave., is sold out on Saturday, but tickets are still available for today's festivities, which run from 1 to 9pm. Sample more than 100 beers from around the world while enjoying live music by Robbie Fulks. Tickets are $35, or $5 at the door if you're not drinking. 21+
Sketch comedy virtuosos Think Tank take their brand of hockey-blade sharp humor, silly satire and bizarre scenarios to The Den Theater, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave., for Chasing The Hype, Sundays in June until the 23rd. Chasing The Hype ribs America's up-to-the-nano-second affinity for news and information, no matter how inaccurate or under-reported it may be.
