Broken Windows Placemaking Workshop

The Polish Triangle community and other interested participants will provide input for improving public space and learning how to continue placemaking. The workshop will be led by architect Katherine Darnstadt, founder and principal of Latent Design.

3-5pm today at the Polish Triangle (the intersection of Ashland, Division and Milwaukee). Free.

The "broken windows" theory states that when community problems such as trash, graffiti and loitering are addressed, the community will prosper and become a better place to live. When the broken windows are not fixed, larger crime problems can result.
