Vintage Garage

Vintage Garage returns to 5051 N. Broadway today from 9am to 4pm, and this month the theme is rockabilly and tiki. Browse vintage housewares, furniture, clothing and more -- with vendors putting an emphasis on theme-appropriate items -- while listening to DJ Killer Diller. Chitown Tamale, Chicago Cupcake and other food vendors will be on hand, and there will also be a rockabilly fashion contest from noon to 2pm. Admission is $3.

Sheffield Garden Walk & Music Festival

Visit more than 80 neighborhood gardens on a self-guided tour at the 45th Annual Sheffield Garden Walk and Music Festival today and Sunday. All participating gardens are located within the boundaries of the Sheffield neighborhood in Lincoln Park, which extends from Halsted west to the Chicago River, and from Armitage north to Fullerton. Pick up a guidebook on the lawn in front of St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1010 W. Webster St., and then make your way down to Sheffield to see Funkadesi and Poi Dog Pondering, among others. Suggested donation $7 before 3pm, $10 after. The festival runs from noon to 10pm today.

Pitchfork Music Festival

The Pitchfork Music Festival takes over Union Park, 1501 W. Randolph St., this weekend, July 19-21. R.Kelly, TNGHT, MIA and Killer Mike are among today's big acts; see the site for the full lineup. There's also the CHIRP Record Fair, Coterie Craft Fair, Flatstock, a book fort and creative lounge; details here. Bike parking is available, sponsored by The Chainlink. Celebrate Clark Street

The Celebrate Clark Street takes over Clark between Morse and Estes for a multicultural festival today and Sunday, featuring two stages of live world music curated by Sound Culture Center for Global Arts, the Glenwood Sunday Market, food and craft vendors, and more. The festival runs from noon to 10pm today. Suggested donation $5/$10 for families.

Ronald McDonald House Benefit Show @ Reggie's

Reggie's, 2109 S. State St., hosts a Ronald McDonald House Benefit Show featuring Infamous, Death Between Distance, Through Ashes, 3 Hour Catalyst, Sudden Death, Damaged Metal and The Onset. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door; a dollar will be donated to Ronald McDonald House for every ticket sold. Doors open at 3pm. All ages.

Voice of a Child @ Harold Washington Cultural Center

The Harold Washington Cultural Center, 4701 S. King Dr., presents Richard Gallion's Voice of a Child, today at 5pm. The play, which marks Gallion's second production and return to the stage, tells the story of a teen foster child and other characters who "are forced to deal with their own truths." This Must Be The Band @ Martyrs

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Talking Heads album Speaking In Tongues the tribute band This Must Be The Band plays the full album at the end of their performance this evening.
