Hats Off to Homebrewers Collaborative Party @ Horse Thief Hollow
Horse Thief Hollow, 10426 S. Western Ave., and Deschutes Brewery hold a Hats Off to Homebrewers Collaborative Party from 5 to 9pm. Chat with Horse Thief Hollow brewer Dave Williams and Deschutes brewer Kyle Spencer as well as chef Graham Elliot, enjoy live music and sample beers including Deschutes' Black Butte XXV. $10 admission includes two beer samples. Proceeds benefit the Beverly Art Center. 21+
The Moth @ Martyrs
It's the last Tuesday of the month, time for the Moth at Martyrs (3855 N. Lincoln), for another open mic storytelling contest, this time on the theme of "Ego." Come with your best 5 minute story (memorized, no pages allowed onstage) and put your name in for the chance to tell a story. Who knows, you could be the next Moth StorySLAM winner. Hosted by Brian Babylon. Tickets are $8 at the door, $16 online. Doors open at 6pm, stories start at 8pm.
