Between Bites
Between Bites, a new live lit series showcasing "the delicious overlap between eating and storytelling," debuts at Two, 1132 W. Grand Ave., tonight from 6:30 to 9:30pm Six food writers -- Anthony Todd, food editor at Chicagoist; Ari Bendersky, director of content for Abe's Market and former Eater Chicago editor; Chandra Ram, editor of Plate magazine; Heather Sperling, Chicago editor of Tasting Table; Joe Campagna, blogger at Chicagofoodsnob.com; and Kiki Luthringshausen, blogger at beautyandherfeast.com -- read stories about "food firsts" while the audience enjoys wine and appetizers. Tickets are $20; proceeds benefit Un86'd, a charity that helps hospitality professionals in need. 21+
