Hannah Arendt (October 4-17) reunites actress Barbara Sukowa with director Margarethe von Trotta in a compelling true story centering on the 1961 trial of Nazi Adolf Eichman, covered by Arendt for The New Yorker, in which her concept of "the banality of evil," and exposure of Jewish collaboration during the Holocaust, gains her the enmity of both the Jewish and intellectual communities.
