Where Eagles Drink @ Local Option

The Local Option, 1102 W. Webster St., Where Eagles Drink, a celebration of the music and cultural influence of Danzig-era Misfits -- as well as a release party for the bar's new Top Fuel barley wine aged on Four Roses Barrels as well as beers from Germany's The Monarchy and Scratch Brewing from southern Illinois. Frog's Hollow Double Pumpkin from Akron's Hoppin' Frog Brewery will be among the other special beers on tap. No cover, 21+. The bar opens at 3pm.

Critical Mass

Tonight's Critical Mass is, of course, Halloween themed. Get on your bike-friendly costume and ride, starting from Daley Plaza at 5:30pm. The ride will finish at The Chainlink's Halloween Party at Bottom Lounge.

Quality Time @ The Post Family

The Post Family, 1821 W. Hubbard St., Ste. 202, celebrates the opening of Quality Time, an exhibition of photography by Debbie Carlos, tonight from 6 to 10pm. View the show as well as a short documentary of Carlos' work and process by Gus Gavino of Middle Mind Projects. The reception coincides with the Hubbard Street Studios Open House.

The Chainlink Halloween Party

Cycling forum and news site The Chainlink throws its third annual Halloween party and fundraiser tonight at 7pm at Bottom Lounge, 1375 W. Lake St. Wear a bike-friendly costume and enter the contest, buy tickets for the raffle, and enjoy drinks, music and fun. Tickets are $9 in advance, $10 at the door. 21+

KMFDM @ Bottom Lounge

Chicago's Table @ River East Art Center

Chicago magazine brings chefs and entertainment together for tonight's benefit for the Auxiliary Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Event runs 7-10pm at the River East Art Center, 435 E. Illinois St., tickets $125.

StoryCorps Tenth Anniversary and Book Release

StoryCorps founder Dave Isay will stop in Chicago to celebrate StoryCorps' tenth anniversary and promote the new book Ties That Bind: Stories of Love & Gratitude from the First Ten Years of StoryCorps on Friday, October 25 at 7pm. The event will take place at the Chicago Cultural Center's Preston Bradley Hall (78 E. Washington St).

Shit Show @ The Shambles
