Celebrate Diwali at the Bollywood Blowout, which takes place at the Stan Mansion (2408 N. Kedzie) tonight at 6:30pm. Your ticket ($55/85 VIP) gets you food, drinks, DJs, and a fashion show to celebrate the holiday.
The 12th annual PAWS Chicago Fur Ball is tonight at 6pm at the Drake Hotel, 140 E. Walton St. The black tie event includes dinner and drinks, raffles and silent auctions, live entertainment and more. Tickets are $400 for people, $100 for their dogs.
The 11th annual Birdhouse Museum Cardboard Show, curated by Project Onward, opens tonight at the Bridgeport Art Center, 1200 W. 35th St., tonight from 6 to 10pm. View (and purchase) works made on or of cardboard by more than 100 artists. Admission is Free.

The Polish Film Festival in America runs Nov. 8-24. Films screen at Facets Cinematheque, 1517 W. Fullerton Ave., Gallery Theatre, 1112 N.
