Christmas Eve @ Brasserie by LM
Brasserie by LM, 800 S. Michigan Ave., is open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and will serve prix-fixe meals for $35 per person. The menu includes choice of an appetizer (such as roasted squash soup or bilinis), an entree (such as chestnut risotto or poached salmon), and a dessert (such as chocolate mousse). Music Box Christmas Show
The Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave., hosts its annual Christmas Show every night from Dec. 12-25, featuring screenings of White Christmas at 12:15 and It's a Wonderful Life at 3:20pm. Advance tickets for adults are $13 for one film or $20 for the double feature; they're $10 and $15 for kids under 13. Add $2 and $4 for adults at the door.
Creole Reveillon Dinner @ Big Jones
Celebrate Christmas Eve with a Creole feast for the ages at Big Jones, 5347 N. Clark. Enjoy a multi-course meal of Crawfish Boudin, Goose Gumbo, or Venison Pie (wowza!) topped off with Doberge Pie.
