Manic Street Preachers @ Metro

Manic Street Preachers have always been political, and 1994's The Holy Bible featured them at perhaps their angriest. Even if the album didn't approach human suffering at the hands of government and society in such a smart and twisted way, musically it would still be lauded. The Welsh rock band return to the US to play it in full. Hopefully, they'll also be playing a few other songs from their long career. Manic Street Preachers headline Metro. The show's $28.50 in advance, $30 at the door, starts at 8PM and is 18+. Metro's at 3630 N. Clark.
