Paul Klein on ChicagoArts
I got a chance to talk with Paul Klein about his Klein Artist Works courses and I have to say, this is the sort of thing that we used to wish for.

Klein brought up an interesting point that I have been thinking about a lot lately (especially when paying my student loan bills). Maybe reverting back to the apprenticeship model is a good idea for artists who want to learn the business of art. He is correct that they aren't teaching that in art school, and a lot of art schools don't teach you how to draw/paint/whatever anymore, either. They just teach you how to think, and what jargon to spout out when. It's a lot of fun, but how useful is it in the real world?
