Detour

It was a while ago when I first came across Melissa Weimer's work. I forget exactly how now, but when I came across the various categories on her site and looked through the photos I knew I immediately liked them. There was no contemplating and decision. I liked them.

They're the kind of photos that make me wonder, in the best possible way, about not only the subject and the environment being captured but about what the photographer is thinking or doing or saying. These are my favourite kind of photos by my favourite kind of photographers.
