Detour

Much of the web knows her as Featherbed. If you track the clues down as one is inclined to do, you'd find out a few things: she's female and lives in Illinois. Or if you email her, you might find out her name and that she lives in Chicago.

But that's not really the point. The point is she draws and paints and makes things. Her illustration style is one of the most captivating I've seen in a long time, perhaps since Chris Ware and Terry Colon (of suck.com fame).

Her flickr stream showcases much of her stellar work and draws in (pun intended) many.

Incidentally, I'd met her before, before I knew about her work. Funny how that works, when you find out that it really is a small world indeed.

But enough. On to the lovely images!
