Calo's Ristorante
Calo's has been serving up Italian food in Andersonville since 1963.Their menu features everything from pizza to fried chicken to BBQ ribs. The first time I went, I was disappointed with the pasta dish I had (doughy gnocci) so this time, I chose two appetizers for my dinner: a small antipasto plate and an order of mussels.
While the meats in the antipasto plate were pretty bland, the mozzerella and fontinella cheeses were fresh and full of flavor. And the mussels, while not the best I've ever had, were delicious. I could have easily swilled the leftover "white" sauce that came with the mussels, a garlicky olive oil sauce infused with briny shellfish broth, but I managed to sop up most of it with the otherwise uninteresting free bread that came in our take-out bag. This made for a highly satisfying end to a decent meal.

I think their main ingredient on their pizzas is salt.
