Today's the last day to get your paczki from Dinkel's on Lincoln. The fried pillows of sugar, fat and fruit are the traditional Polish food consumed in the few days before the beginning of Lent. I can vouch for the deliciousness of the paczki at Bennison's Bakery in Evanston. I made my lunch gang's day by bringing in a box-full. (they've also got King Cakes....drool)
