Chicago Restaurant Week Returns

Start planning! Chicago Restaurant Week 2009 will be February 20-27, with some new faces this year (the Gage, Japonais) and returning participants like Naha and Aria. Three-course prix-fixe lunches are $22 (and dinners $32) this year, which of course doesn't include the gigantic bottle of Cris you'll be ordering with your meal. Because at these prices, we can all afford to live The Good Life.

Check out the Unofficial Guide to Chicago Restaurant Week at www.eatupchicago.com.

You can search for restaurants by cuisine type or by neighborhood, and you can find participating restaurants' special restaurant week menus by clicking on the names of individual restaurants on the "Restaurants" page.

Not all restaurants are listed yet, as the site just recently went live, but all should be listed within the next few days.

There's also a "News" page with daily updated news about Chicago-area restaurants, including other special deals.

If you like what you see at www.eatupchicago.com, become a fan of The Unofficial Guide to Chicago Restaurnat Week on Facebook.

You can find the original and complete list of participating restaurants for Chicago Restaurant Week (including special menus) at the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau's website http://www.eatitupchicago.com . It's the only site with the latest, up-to-the-minute listings. Three new restaurants were added today and the list continues to grow to over 136 restaurants.
