Plans Laid For Avec's Re-Opening
Today, eight weeks after a fire claimed the life of a Chicago firefighter at Avec, Paul Kahan announced via Twitter that the restaurant's re-opening is finally at hand. He tweeted: "Avec. Finally moving forward! Opening soon!" It's not much to go on, but The Feast also has their office manager, Renee Johnson, as saying that "the restaurant received their final permit yesterday afternoon--but won't be able to start construction until Monday."
