One Seed Chicago Voting Is Open!
Considering the balmy winter we have had, I bet I'm not the only urban gardener already wanting to plan out this summer's plantings. One Seed Chicago has opened up voting for their annual seed contest with three very herby candidates. Cilantro, basil or chamomile are in the running to be the continuous thread sewn through Chicago's gardens. Here's how it works: you vote for your favorite seed of the summer, and NeighborSpace will send you a packet of the seeds free for you to plant. Profiles of each seed/plant are available on the One Seed website, so read up and vote today!
One Seed Chicago is an urban greening project of NeighborSpace, Chicago's land trust for community gardens.

Thanks for writing about One Seed Chicago again this year. We're excited about the candidates and getting more Chicagoans involved in greening our city.
