A Sweet Benefit for Food Deserts Tonight
Fed Up sponsors an all-dessert benefit tonight for helping to eradicate food deserts through the work of Fresh Moves at Greenhouse Lofts (2545 W Diversey; event begins with a VIP reception at 7pm; general admission opens at 8pm; and event ends at 10pm). Fritz Pastry, Hoosier Mama, and Sweet Miss Givings are among the many attendees. Food desert expert Mari Gallagher will also be making remarks. Tickets $55-75; note that they will not be sold at the door.
