Those who properly use the objective case "whom."

Andrew Huff / April 20, 2009 9:52 AM

Heh.

printdude / April 20, 2009 11:05 AM

I say this without snark, irony or provocation:

Richie Daley.

He gets stuff doneĀ®

Kate / April 20, 2009 11:48 AM

My parents.

Layla / April 20, 2009 11:51 AM

My Dog.
He's mastered the art of the stealth fart and run.

Hieronymus Murphy / April 20, 2009 11:53 AM

I'm with editorkid on this one.

I also have a long, long list of others, topped by Ray Wylie Hubbard

I most admire my esteemed President of the United States Barack Hussein Obama!

David / April 20, 2009 12:23 PM

Besides President Obama, for un-fucking-up the country, and my wife, for putting up with me, there is only one person I admire:

Robert Evans.

Lots of people, but at this very moment, African-Americans who participated in sit-ins and peaceful demonstrations in the 1960's. All of them. Their patience astounds me, I would have attacked the first mofo who yelled "ni**er" in my direction.

Barack Obama / April 20, 2009 12:40 PM

Anyone who has a percieved grievance towards the US.

...now back to my "My Name is Earl" World Tour

Pete / April 20, 2009 1:46 PM

Besides myself, do you mean?

Michelle / April 20, 2009 2:20 PM

People who have made marriage work in the long term. I am continually amazed by my friends Sue and Paul, still kickin' it after 30 feisty years.

Brubeck / April 20, 2009 3:44 PM

I admire the Japanese. I firmly believe they have a discipline that the rest of the planet lacks. They are always one step ahead of the human race.

fluffy / April 20, 2009 8:02 PM

I admire most people who volunteer/help the homeless, the terminally ill, the poor - people who actually help and do something/make a difference in people's lives, instead just complaining about it and expecting others to do all the work.

jaime / April 20, 2009 8:38 PM

people who do amazing things for others when no one is looking.

Steven / April 20, 2009 9:34 PM

It depends, there are so many people to admire for different reasons. I admire Rachel Maddow for her ability to make fun of Republicans without being overly mean, condescending or snarky. I admire Michelle Obama for her thoroughly understated fierceness. I admire local adult film star Vinnie d'Angelo for his, uh, acting abilities. And I admire my l'il doggies Spugi and Bonaparte for their uncanny ability to sense who is and who is not worth their attention. I wish I could do that.

Amanda / April 20, 2009 9:45 PM

I admire my friend who does volunteer work with refugees who are victims of torture. Her fortitude and endless reserves of empathy astound me.

me in atlanta / April 21, 2009 10:40 AM

People who know exactly what they want in life. And get it.

madachode / April 21, 2009 3:07 PM

miss california for speaking the truth

spook / April 21, 2009 9:52 PM

people who are born or get disfigured and paralyzed and still get up every day

Nelson Mandela,

Spandex / April 24, 2009 9:05 PM

With an unbeliveable amount of pride, the women and men of our Armed Services.

JK / April 29, 2009 5:06 PM

My friend Haythem Kadhri, he is from Tunisia and joined our US Army....he is the bravest man I know.
