Fuck em if they can't take a joke.
laughter really is the best medicine. just don't get too maniacal about it. people might think you're crazy.
It's Day Two

FEMA Concentration camps are being set up to contain all Patriotic Sovereign Citizens, while they take our guns.
Tune in to get further instructions from The Provesional President of the Republic, Glenn Beck.
When talking to a company to resolve a problem or change service or whatever, ALWAYS get their name and (if possible) employee number.
And have an emergency fund. For emergencies. Even if you can only afford to put a dollar in there a week, do it.
Don't be afraid to ask (for a discount, bonus, whatever). If you get a "yes" you're ahead, if you get a "no" you're no worse off.
Look out for dog $%@!.
Maybe not the best advice but hard to refute.
One of the only things you can control in this life is how hard you work.
Someday, for some reason, you will die - so live it up NOW.
whatever you do - do not tell your mother in law how you really feel.
who gives a rat's ass what other people think? live YOUR life.
There is no such thing as superheroes, so if you are bitten by a radioactive spider, you are going to die.
Ride fast, take chances.
Be nice. Work hard.
Take care of yourself.
I teach and say these words everyday.
hopefully they make some sort of impact.
You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil has to be lead.
while it might be true, that "Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted", still, I can guarantee that if you leave a ripe banna, on your desk on Friday, that on Monday you will find it like a tree because it's only as strong as its side, if you think about it, that is, I mean, reallly.
This is the advice I give my students for college:
1. No classes before 9 am.
2. Study abroad if you can.
mind your own business
Don't go breaking your shin on a stool that's not in your way.
You can't control other people. You can only control your response to them.
Nothing's permanent. This may not be technically true, but I find myself saying it a lot when people are worrying whether they're making the right choice. I always remind them that if they end up miserable, then they can just make a change. They did it once, they can do it again.
Relatedly, a friend of mine and I had this conversation that has stuck with me:
Me: I'm not sure I made the right decision.
Friend: Well, now you can make the decision right.
The grass is never greener.
Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.
