Sunday, March 23
Went to Michiana, sat on the beach and watched the sunset, waded into the lake (don't ever do this in March), wore a skirt, barbecued, sweat a lot, shaved my legs, drove with the windows down.
I don't even enjoy summer as much as I've enjoyed this latest streak of warm weather.
leg shaving, no-socks-wearing, vitamin d soaking up free for all!
Tennis at the park and bags in front of the house! Also, ice cream eating on a bench.
Riding my bike or walking to work. Spent a lazy afternoon in the park eating Mexican shaved ice with coconut. Forgot it was March.
Biking, photographing, walking, sweating a little.
Complaining and sweating. It's March. Can we have March back please? I like cool air.

swimming outside with about 300 kids and families all weekend in St. Charles. it was like going to Florida. now, I am enjoying the freakishly early blooming flowering trees and bushes. Trying not to drive my car into a pole while gaping at the blooming magnolias. furthermore: pedicure, flipflops and also the leg shaving.
I am too terrified to take advantage.
(I know. I need to learn how to swallow my fear, and enjoy human beings' last few moments on this planet. I will try.)

I was at Walgreens buying chips to bring to a BBQ on Saturday night, and looked around to see that several other people in line were obviously going to BBQs as well. Awesome.
I like this pre-summer summer; it's nice and casual in the city, and best of all--NO STREET FESTS (yet). Those give me hives.
