I've been out of the music loop due to the grad school loop that has taken over my life. but I love love love kate nash's 'made of bricks.' granted, it's not being released in the states until '08, but I still

also a big fan of 'challengers,' 'in rainbows,' 'boys and girls,' and 'the shepherd's dog.' will catch up on other '07 releases over winter term.

I got back to the midwest too late, when he- and his sort- went underground after Wicker Park got shot down by property taxes and zombie yuppies, but I caught the tail end of the magic. Check out his CD son, its brilliant! And his book of poems "School Yard of Broken Dreams" is in my collection, well thumbed of course
