I've eaten a burrito, and said "Olé!" a lot. Other than that, nothing.

Peter / May 5, 2004 3:21 PM

At work, being bored out of my mente

Pete / May 5, 2004 3:51 PM

Had a homemade burrito last night. From now on, I'm leaving it to the pros at La Bamba.

Andrew / May 5, 2004 3:56 PM

I'm sitting this Cinco de Drinko out.

d4ve / May 5, 2004 4:14 PM

our annual work partay woohoo!
*hic*

miss ellen / May 5, 2004 4:19 PM

I'm with Andrew; actually, my pop is coming up & we're going to try to install a Washer / Dryer. If we succeed, maybe I'll have to go down to El Cid for a Margarita.

Oh boy, this just sounds like a recipe for disaster.....

Ben / May 5, 2004 4:22 PM

Whoa, hold the mayo. Extra pickles please.

daruma / May 5, 2004 4:23 PM

Going to the Cubs game with Alex x to see them kick some Diamondback ass! I did eat El Milagro authentico tortilla chips for lunch.

Cinnamon / May 5, 2004 4:27 PM

Smelling my neighbors "Mexican flavored microwave popcorn" waft over my cube wall. What the fuu? Not a good thing, people. Stay away from the "bargain aisle" at Aldi foods.

april / May 5, 2004 4:31 PM

I hafta work at my Dos el Jobo.

[boooooo!]

Miranda / May 5, 2004 4:40 PM

Going to see The Butchies at Schubas tonight. Olé.

Ian / May 5, 2004 4:45 PM

La Bamba, pros?

Tonight has mangorita written all over it...

Ian / May 5, 2004 4:47 PM

Oh, a probably a few of these beauties...

Chiquita Banana / May 5, 2004 5:54 PM

just another excuse for white kids to get drunk...

'That Ian' / May 6, 2004 8:11 AM

I drank a bottle of tequila, put two fingers in my ass and called it a night (but unfortunately it was only about 2:30PM by the time "night" rolled around).

Pete / May 6, 2004 8:53 AM

Ian, they're pros compared to me, at least. That was the sorriest looking burrito I've ever seen.

pat / May 6, 2004 9:21 AM

enchiladas from the Burrito Buggy should hit the spot.

A lex / May 6, 2004 10:16 AM

Nothing. It's not a "real" holiday anyway.
The important day is in September (Mexican Independence Day). I don't know of one single Mexican that celebrates it -- and yes, I am Mexican myself.

Cinco de Mayo is just an excuse for idiots to get drunk and wear sombreros.

Ian / May 6, 2004 10:33 AM

Sorry Pete-didn't mean to sound condescending...I've never even taken a crack at building a burrito...but now I'm intrigued.

Cinnamon / May 6, 2004 10:38 AM

I think I get it, Ale x! It's like a holiday decoy. Get all the gringos psyched in May so that way they just stand around confused in September and don't get in the way of Los Mexicanos y sus cervezas. Too bad the Irish didn't think of that.

Carlos / May 6, 2004 10:53 AM

Playing some "Loteria"!!

I just need "El Catrin" and I got's me "Loteria"!!!!

A lex / May 6, 2004 11:33 AM

Cinnamon -- too funny! ;)

Carlos -- Now would this be the old-fashioned Loteria, or the less-cool, but more PC new Loteria?
