The Listing

annie / October 19, 2009 1:21 PM

No more layoffs at work and a mild winter.

Spook / October 19, 2009 1:48 PM

That Carlos Noyola's new collection of 1,300 belongings of Frida Kahlo- letters, stuffed hummingbirds, notebook of private thoughts, lots of drawings, etc,- are in fact REAL!

A freakishly warm winter, that leads to a freakishly hot summer!

jlp / October 19, 2009 1:51 PM

to focus and write a much improved second draft of my fellowship application...so that I can do my year of field research in rwanda and burundi. (lots of future planning riding on this...)

daruma / October 19, 2009 2:32 PM

Comfortable, cute rainboots!

Brubeck / October 19, 2009 5:07 PM

- to keep my job.

- to see Man City crack the top 4 and stay there all season long.

Johnny Rawker / October 20, 2009 8:57 AM

More nights like last one at the UIC Pavillion

Pete / October 20, 2009 9:24 AM

Lunch at Svea. And for once, my wish will materialize, literally within hours.

JP / October 20, 2009 12:33 PM

A job. Preferably one that doesn't just pay the bills, but is interesting and challenging, and has fun, smart coworkers.

Jasmine / October 20, 2009 1:25 PM

For @printdude to get that house. It's gorgeous.

World peace. Health care for everybody. A puppy. A new apartment. A boyfriend (or at least someone to make out with a little on New Year's Eve).

Yanira / October 20, 2009 1:28 PM

A great boyfriend. Pronto.

holden / October 20, 2009 8:08 PM

a great girlfriend.

a speedy recovery for my madre.

an aux input for my ipod in my car

fluffy / October 20, 2009 8:49 PM

I also wish the best for printdude.
I wish for a job I like and a cute guy to cross my path.
I wish happiness and good health to everyone who reads this.

M / October 20, 2009 11:33 PM

Thanks, fluffy!

I had thought of material things, but in this economy, with friends and family out of work, wishing for a Roomba seems downright ludicrous. Health and happines would be quite enough.

Luke / October 21, 2009 12:11 PM

that I had my camera with me so that I could take a picture of the three suburban dads walking in their ed hardy shirts & hats, with their kids.

I wish that the unions weren't so powerful that the city's non-union employees have to get bent over in the 2010 budget.

I wish I were independently wealthy so that my second wish wouldn't matter, at least not on a personal level.

Meems / October 21, 2009 3:05 PM

For the $1200 in fraudulent charges on my credit card to be resolved without having to sue someone I thought was a friend. For better health in my family. For my boyfriend to man up and start treating me better.

Mimi / October 21, 2009 9:11 PM

A job is on my list. 5 months without employment is wearing on me.

PMan / October 21, 2009 11:46 PM

A new job and one of those Mac memory cubes.

Zoenotcool / October 22, 2009 2:00 PM

A full-time job that pays the bills. A birthday next week that is peaceful and happy. More energy and optimism. Enough of everything good for all of us.
