I'm going to be Tangerine, Wolverine's culinary cousin.

The plan is to dress as Kim Jong-il - pants suit or similar, with tall frizzy wig and large framed glasses. As I am a portly Asian person, that should really be all I need. I think I have everything but still need the right wig for the hair.

Hopefully, this costume will be suitable for the superheroes/supervillains party I plan to attend Saturday night, and the monster theme for the Old Town recital I'll be singing backup in on Sunday afternoon.

I'm going to be The Great Pumpkin

Meg / October 30, 2009 5:09 PM

This year I've decided to spread Halloween joy the old fashioned way...as H1N1. I'm going as swine flu, political correctness be damned.

Kristin / October 30, 2009 5:10 PM

I'm going to be a pirate. This is only because my other costume ideas were all already taken by someone else who is going to be at the same party as me. These include Sherlock Holmes, a mummy, Peppermint Patty, Annie Hall, and Olive Oyl.

I think there should be a costume sign up sheet for every party so that you can just claim what you're doing, and not have to find out later than it's taken. Pirate is the worst costume ever.

i was debating if it was worth the effort to dress up for work seeing as how i hate my job and the suburbs just suck the life out of me...but i decided to show up as juno (blue slurpee and all).

i figured a pregnant teenager was sure to offend someone plus it's no secret that i'm all "uh ya marriage? kids? no thanks!".

the reactions i got were well worth it. i mean...it ranged from pure shock (i had a dood in tears) to people asking me when i was due. seriously?!
