Chicago architectural tours... you see the buildings of Chicago at shear angles. Awesome.
the view of the city from the bike path behind the aquarium, especially when the sky is clear and blue and the lake is sparkling like it's covered with sequins.
That bridge right outside of Lincoln Park Zoo that gives you a backdrop of the Mag Mile.
The bridge on Grand with the fork of the river behind you - think Cusack monologue in High Fidelity.
i'll 2nd the vote: Looking NorthWest from Planet-Arium. this view shows off Chicago very well. It has the varied architecture and the front lawn in the same photo, and when in summer, it shows the boats moored in the harbor. Good at morning, noon and night.
And Wrigley Field is undeniably photogenic.
From Belmont Harbor, from the concrete steps across the harbor.
The alleys are always a great place for a shot as well.
yesterday i took more than 240 pictures (of which about 150 were keepers) at the north park nature preserve. not very cool if you're a hipster i suppose. but i'm really, really happy with 'em. the water and the air alike were translucent and bursting with color.
The new North Ave. bridge is kind of awesome. As is the skyline from Elston... or Montrose harbor. The various fountains are also gorgeous.
Um, I likes it all? I really doe.
Any direction from the cocktail bar at the top of the Hancock building.
heh, kate. "i can has f/stop?"
da bean!
Re: "doe" -- D'oh! Fixed.
Graceland Cemetary
Overpass on Chicago Ave. between Carpenter (St. John Cantius) and Eckhart Park (Noble St.)
Too hard to settle on just one, but I would like to make sure the neon tunnel in O'Hare that goes to the United concourse gets a mention.
Signature Lounge - John Hancock Building, on a clear dark night. You can see for miles and shoot pretty well if you manage to get in on a slow night.
all around Pilsen
North from Roosevelt and the river across the loop is supurb at night.
