prosciutto, green olives, vinegar
Prosciutto, anchovies, tomato, buffalo mozzarella.
tomatoes, basil (lots of basil, not just three pieces), buffalo mozzarella, and garlic
Winter: potatoes, parmigiano, and rosemary. Or tomatoes, mushrooms, mozzarella, and parmigiano.
Summer: Mozzarella and squash blossoms, if you can find them. Otherwise, tomato, mozzarella, and parmigiano.
In Italy, not here: prosciutto and maybe an egg.
Never: Pineapple (misplaced). Those weird slices of peperoni that bead up with grease in the oven (unsightly, stimultes gag response).
50% pepperoni, 50% onion, black olives, green pepper, mushrooms and tomato. Please. Is it lunchtime yet?
Sausage, goat cheese & garlic.
Canadian Bacon+Pinapple,
But if you are ordering from damenzo's, I'll take the Sausage. + Anchovies
Any combination of pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, olives, onions, basil leaves, tomatoes, mushrooms (and recently introduced to me by some Southsiders--even some giardiniera)...
Anchovies, as a personal preference, hell no...
Meanwhile, the pizza snob in me screams that pineapple, chicken and any other such novelties have no place on a Chicago pie...
Pepperoni, onions and jalapenos. Preferably thin crust from Ranalli's
Mushrooms, green peppers, garlic, spinach or broccoli
If I’m at Piece, I like to get garlic and mashed potatoes. Delish!
Sausage. Always sausage.
black olives and garlic.
I like thin crust and simple pizza.
Tuna and red onions. It's delicious. I wish more pizza places offered this combo.
Probably easier to say what I DON'T want:
Anchovies. Pineapple. Potatoes. Some sort of fish.
Other than that, anything goes.
Side note No. 1: I used to love The Art of Pizza's "Meaty Delight (which sounds sort of risque), but it's gone downhill recently.
Side note No. 2: My new favorite pizza place is Apart Pizza which recently opened a new branch near me at Broadway and Bryn Mawr. Their pizza list kicks much ass...
When I said 'some sort of fish" I knew anchovies were fish... just meant any large fish. Carry on...
Taco pizza is the best invention since cotton balls.
spinach, mushrooms and andouille sausage mmm.
spinach & black olives... you callin' pequods?
mushrooms and onions on "pan" crust--not too crunchy and not to thick, i want to tate the toppings!
i'm not picky. i like lots of stuff on my pizza. during the summer i like margherita pizza; maybe something more filling during the winter.
i'm trying to think of the weirdest pizza topping ever. but i can't think of any.
one time i made a bbq chicken pizza with a light bbq sauce, chicken, mozzarella, red onions, asparagus. the key is not to overcrowd it with toppings, no matter how much you want to!
Canadian bacon, pineapple and jalepenos. Yum
Whoa whoa whoa, we got us some fancy toppings here.
Sausage, mushrooms, spinach, and onions, please.
sausage and pepperoni. maybe onions.
Vegan mozzarella, broccoli, black olives, mushrooms, and caramelized onions. Oh, and artichoke hearts.
Spinach, or Fresh tomato and basil.
One thing that NO ONE in Chicago tops their pizza with is HAMBURGER. I'm from Nebraska and we love hamburger on our pizza. :(
what in the fucking hell? obviously most people didn't understand the question- i'm pretty sure you get your ass kicked for trying to order most of that nonsense. mine'll be sausage, thanks. jesus...
Olives. Black, green, kalamata...
I'll also throw on artichoke hearts, ricotta, mushrooms or pineapple, but that's about it.
Chocolate
cheese. just cheese.
pepperoni and/or mushrooms
spinach, freshly sliced tomato, black olives, mushroom.
light on the cheese. sprinkle of oregano. delicious!
Cheese and sausage.
@ Val:
Taco Pizza = Hell Yes!
I'd like broccoli, spinach, green peppers and mushrooms with soy cheese, please.
Uma Thurman
Sausage and black olive, from Burt's in Morton Grove, please.
Though JAH has a good one too, pepperoni, onion and jalapeño.
If I'm eating with my vegetarian friends, usually just cheese or cheese and mushroom.
If I'm eating alone or with my carnivorous parents, extra cheese, extra sauce, sausage, green peppers, onions and mushrooms.
truffles!!! (mushrooms, not chocolate)
or sausage, green peppers, onion, and spinach.
Today's pizza:
I would like sliced beef and giardinera, please.
I'm partial to the way they do the "Fiorentio" at Coalfire:
"mozzarella topped with tomato sauce, layered with hot calabrese salami & roasted red peppers," it is served on a perfectly-balanced crisp/chewy crust after having been baked in an 800 degree coalfire oven.
Spinach, Pepperoni, Feta cheese. Mmmm.
Black olive, artichoke, spinach, garlic, no cheese.
Pizza Marguerite from Apart Pizza, Montrose and Lincoln.
i miss piece and pequods. mmmmmm.
on Today's pizza:
Pepperoni, sauasage, bacon, hamburger, garlic, onion, + jalepeños.
Don't forget my RC cola today!
Coconut, please. And sparkles.
But forget about a pizza. I'm gonna go out at lunchtime and roam river North looking for that lost $5000 yuppie dog. But I suspect everyone in Cabrini Green's already way on top of that, already.
Toppings added in this order:
Tomato Puree, mozzarella cheese, extra hot calabrese salami sliced as thinly as possible (this stops the pizza from being greasy), capsicum, onion, garlic, oregano.
