Context.

I figure the North & Clybourn Red Line stop will soon be known as the Apple stop -- maybe even the Red Apple stop?

I'd like to see my brown line stop, Francisco, renamed as "Don Francisco." Or maybe named after our infamous neighbor "Blagojevich."

Aren't there two Western stops on the Blue Line? Maybe they should each have a new hyphenated name (like UIC-Halsted) to distinguish between the two because I grew up along the Red Line and once I felt severely lost and I thought I was out of my mind, as if there couldn't possibly be TWO Western stops, so, yeah.

I personally think most stops should have neighborhood names attached. Just like Cermak-Chinatown, we could go with Belmont-Lakeview, Western-Lincoln Square, etc. (Of course, then you'd get into the usual hairy issues about which neighborhood is which--is it Irving Park-St. Bens, or Irving Park-North Center? And just how big is Ravenswood, anyway?)

I think we should sell naming rights. The entire Brown Line could be the UPS Line, the Red Line could be the Target Line, etc. Then sell off each stop as well.

before the pink line took on its sparkly new color, the blue line had three western stops.

along with north/clybourn, i guess a lot of stops on the green line could be sponsored by the iphone, for all the extra sales apple gets from people not paying attention.

we should re-name CTA stops I've lived by based on phases of my life. Red Line berwyn would be 'married fun times'; brown line Western should be 'divorced fun times', Pink Line Hoyne Stop would be "bitch roommate"; and blue line Division "lame". There are others based on jobs I've had, but we'll leave it at that...

Always wanted to rename the Morse stop as Remorse.
