Got a good question for Fuel? Send it to inbox@gapersblock.com!

Yes, this is a silly question -- that's sort of the point. Me, I'd hate to have Napoleon running around, barking orders at me and insisting we can conquer Russia.

eee / June 9, 2009 11:06 AM

I'd hate to have the ghost of someone with a really annoying voice haunting me. Like Tiny Tim, or (when they die) Bobcat Goldthwait or Gilbert Gottfried.

annie / June 9, 2009 11:13 AM

I don't like the idea of being "haunted" so I'm going to go the easy route and say all ghosts.

David / June 9, 2009 11:43 AM

Woody Allen.

I know he's alive and all, but if his ghost ever turns up at a party I'm at, I'm going to get the ghost of Steve McQueen to kick his ass.

Mucky Fingers / June 9, 2009 12:01 PM

I'm with Annie. There are dead people I'd be interested in being contacted by, but I don't want to be "haunted" by anybody. Getting spooked while I'm trying to rest and recuperate ain't my thing!

Ellen / June 9, 2009 12:44 PM

John Wayne Gacy.

He epitomizes all of my grandmother's ghoulish warnings and all of my childhood nightmares, and also resembles a PR photographer whom I took classes from in college who was completely bland but deeply creepy and transparently lecherous .

1) The Ghost of 1993. Not a good year.

2) The Ghost of Girlfriends Past

My mother

snuh / June 9, 2009 1:23 PM

idi amin's ghost. what a prick.

annie / June 9, 2009 1:37 PM

ah, Marie. Good answer, I totally agree. I feel "haunted" by her now and she's alive and kicking.

Freddy Kruger
or Shadow People

Mo / June 10, 2009 12:30 AM

Zelda from Pet Sematary. Terrifying.

Jill / June 10, 2009 10:30 AM

Casper. Would think "friendly ghost" might soon become "perky and annoying ghost."

Baldeesh / June 10, 2009 11:51 AM

Richard Simmons.

It would be really amusing at first, but I bet it would wear off fast.

printdude / June 10, 2009 3:37 PM

I ain't afraid of no ghost.

Dan / June 10, 2009 3:51 PM

Valerie Solanas

crystal clear / June 10, 2009 6:23 PM

a clown ghost

Spook / June 11, 2009 10:40 AM

I don't know Mo, Rachel was pretty creepy when she came back

Dubi / June 11, 2009 8:16 PM

Patrick Swayze, because I don't like to be interrupted when I do my ceramics.

Sutton / June 11, 2009 10:34 PM

Groucho Marx. I would always have a snappy comeback @ my beck and call.

PMan / June 11, 2009 11:11 PM

My first thought would be truly sadistic people, Stalin, Hitler, Gacy, etc., but on reflection, if they couldn't have a physical effect on me or the wider world, I might enjoy taunting my ghost. I'm someone with an aversion to Lionel Richie music, so it would be bad to be haunted by that.
