Wait a minute?!? How long have I been asleep?!?
Fluffy, you just scored big time in my book. I like Amon Tobin too and I've seen him at the Metro and the Empty Bottle. The Empty Bottle show was full of people wearing sweaters and berets for some reason (maybe some hipster trend I didn't know of?), and at the end of the show Amon shook my hand and said, "You were the only one moving around in the mosh pit! Thank you!"
Also looking forward to Grooverider, Goldie, LTJ Bukem, Mark Farina, all those indie bands you guys mentioned, and the shows that you get pleasantly surprised at with bands you've never heard play before.

Going to see The Scissor Sisters tomorrow night, but not massively looking forward to it. Got my eye on my tickets to The Killers May 10th. Haven't stopped eying them.
In days past my ears would keen to the strains of a lute strummed by a one-legged halfling by the name of Yogne, who crisscrossed the countryside plying his tunes for food (and more frequently, mead by the barrelful). His was a celebrated talent, for in that time before the coming of the Dark Lord, villagers and countrymen leapt at any opportunity to dance, sing, and clap one another on the back to celebrate the birth of a new foal or a particularly bountiful harvest. Though evil has corrupted this land, Yogne’s music lives still, in snatches sung under the breath of young lasses as they go about their chores, or fathers cooing into the ear of their newborn when they suspect no one hears.
