Haven't hit the vending machine in years, but if I did I'd be sorely tempted by the Gardetto Original Recipe Snack Mix. Least favorite is everything else.

The company I used to work for had this amazing collection of vending machines -- including one that made French fries. I always figured I'd get around to trying them someday, but I ending up not working there very long.

So I wish I could say French fries were my favorite, but I never actually tried them (and they were probably terrible to be honest).

My real favorite: peanut butter M&Ms. (Similar to Andrew's story I used to have peanut butter M&Ms and a Diet Pepsi for breakfast in college.)

My least favorite: fruit. Not that I don't like fruit in general but vending machine fruit is almost always really bad.

my favorite is cheez-its. i very rarely allow myself to actually purchase and consume them, though. least favorite is a hrder choice. sun chips?

favorite: anything salty and crunchy -- chips, pretzels, popcorn, corn nuts.

least favorite: coffee...I love watching it get made but it's pretty bad.

also I'd love it if we brought back the Automat.

White Cheddar Cheez-Its and Country Time lemonade got me through geometry in summer school, so they still hold a special place in my heart.

My old office had 5-Hour Energy shots in the vending machine. That seemed like a bad omen, so I'm going with that as the worst vending machine item.

Rose, you might want to check out this blurb about a recent NYC automat and why locals think it closed. It might give some insight as to why automats no longer exist.

Best Salty Crunchy: the classic potato chip (Lays or Ruffles).

Best Sweet Treat: Choco Taco! (clap-clap-clapclapclap)

Best Fizzy Concoction: Diet Dr. Pepper.

it's been so long since i worked anywhere with a vending machine that i'm struggling. the highrise i work in has a convenience store on the first floor and we just go there or to the nearby starbucks. buuuuut...

i think skittles (regular skittles, a.k.a. god's own skittles) would be my favorite. least favorite? anything liquid.
