Does Anybody Know Stimulus Specifics?

So I was gearing up to blog about the stimulus bill based on this nifty chart from Pro Publica that Adam Doster at Progress Illinois brought up, but unfortunately more negotiations ensued so now I don't know exactly what the specifics of the current stimulus plan are. Does anybody know where I can find detailed info?

A group called Stimulus Watch has posted the specifics, by state and by city, of every project that local governments have requested (except those that haven't disclosed, such as Chicago). I looked up Evanston's wish list lof shovel-ready projects, for example, at
http://www.stimuluswatch.org/project/by_city/Evanston/IL.

The Tribune in yesterday's (Feb. 11) edition actually published a nice full-page graphic comparing the Senate and House versions; highlights of the compromise package are online today at http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/sns-ap-congress-stimulus-highlights,0,4934216.story.

Keep an eye out at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning's new web page devoted to a regional response to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan: http://www.cmap.illinois.gov/blog.aspx?blogid=872

Some good information right here, I'm actually quite curious about the specifics of the stimulus plans as well.

It would really be good to know how to get some detailed information on how our money is being spent.

It's now been 11 days since the carbon monoxide leak which sent over 80 Prussing Elementary School students and staff to the hospital. While officials from Chicago Public Schools have partially answered some questions, and CPS CEO Forrest Claypool has informed that he will be visiting the school to field more questions on Nov. 16, many parents remain irate at the CPS response to date. More...

Substance, Not Style, the Source of Rahm's Woes

It's not surprising that some of Mayor Emanuel's sympathizers and supporters are confusing people's substantive disputes with the mayor as the effect of poor marketing on his part. It's exactly this insular worldview that has gotten the mayor in hot... More...
