Chicago Sketchfest, billed as the largest festival of sketch comedy in the country, kicks off this Thursday at the Theatre Building Chicago, 1225 W. Belmont. Performances by more than 60 troupes will be performed over the next two weeks, including something called the Octo-Sketch: The 8 Hour Project -- next Monday, four teams will be given eight hours to develop a half-hour sketch show to be performed that evening.
