March 19 marks the second anniversary of the Iraqi war, and the March 19 Chicago Coalition has organized a downtown march and rally to mark the occasion. See Slowdown for details. Also happening this weekend: a screening of the new documentary Where We Stood, which depicts the events of March 20, 2003 when 500 protestors were arrested in a huge Chicago anti-war protest; and a group of speakers at the Chicago Temple discussing the lessons of the war, including Lila Lipscomb, who was featured in the film Fahrenheit 9/11.
