StoryCorps, the project to record interviews of regular American individuals, wraps up its stay in Chicago today. The Sun-Times prints some quotes from local StoryCorps participants, and also passes along the interesting news that StoryCorps might put a permanent recording studio here in Chicago, so that residents could continue to record interviews with their family and friends. So if you missed the chance to participate this time (and you probably did, since the slots for recording interviews filled up within hours when they became available), you might get another chance soon.
