If you happen to live near one Beth Freeman, best be warned; she sounds like too savvy a "piggybacker" to be playing "the dumb card" ingenuously. Another Chicagoan, Elaine Ball, is another story -- her network is wide open as a combination of neighborly hospitality and anti-corporate activism.
