Chicago has a reputation for being a hard-working town. And I'm delighted to say that not only is that reputation well-deserved, but it's a reputation owned by young Chicagoans. The New Leaders Council recently chose the winners of their "40 Under 40" awards and Chicago owns at least four of those slots. Making up that 10% of the list are 1st Ward Alderman Manny Flores, Illinois State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, Chicago Public Schools CEO Ron Huberman, and Nate Silver founder of FiveThirtyEight.com.
