Kíla @ Chicago Cultural Center

Ireland's Kíla make their Chicago debut tonight at the Chicago Cultural Center in a free concert in Preston Bradley Hall at 7pm. Kila has been described as "the closest ...Irish music will get to techno." Kíla's unique sound stems from melding Celtic folk music with gypsy, reggae and rock using traditional instruments such as whistles, pipes and fiddles but also incorporating brass, woodwind and electric instruments.
