Tireswing Theater's The Soul Cages Opens
The spring season at the new Loop Theater, 8 E. Randolph St., continues with
Tireswing Theatre's production of The Soul Cages, adapted from the tale by Thomas Crofton Croker. Opening night is Friday, March 19 at 8 p.m. The Soul Cages runs through Sunday, April 25, 2004. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by phone at 312-744-LOOP (5667) or from

"The Soul Cages follows the story of Jack Doherty as he befriends a Merrow named Coomara and finds their friendship at odds when he decides to free the souls of drowned sailors. Chicago Golf Show
Another exhibition that Chicago plays home to:
the Chicago Golf Show, the largest consumer golf show in the nation. About 20,000 attendees are expected at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont over the next three days, to see over 300 exhibitors and get tips from some of the top golfing instructors. Chris Saathoff Benefit Show
Tonight at 10pm at the
Empty Bottle there will be a special benefit for The Chris Saathoff Foundation featuring: Chris's band,
Chin Up Chin Up,
New Black,
Rollo Tomasi and Paletazo. As
previously reported, Chris, a prominent and beloved member of the local music community, was killed on February 13th after leaving a show here at the Empty Bottle. Tickets are $8; the proceeds raised will be donated to a
foundation in his name.
