Independent Label Forum @ Cultural Center
Bruce Iglauer of Alligator Records moderates panelists from Bloodshot Records, Minty Fresh Records, Victory Records and Premonition Records on the workings of independent music labels. The group will discuss the difference between independent and corporate labels, how to determine what a label does, how to land a contract, and what you need to start your own record label. You're going to be taking some photos this holiday, and given the way trends are heading, they'll probably be digital. Learn cool things you can do with Apple's iPhoto program at this class (among others available) held at the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue, on Mondays and Wednesdays, December 5, 7, 12, 14, at 1pm. In this series, they'll go in-depth into iPhoto and teach you how to edit, enhance, and organize your photos, and also how to use them for professional prints, slideshows, and web pages.
