Citizens of the World
As part of the city's official commemoration of the fifth anniversary of September 11, 2001, this performance combines storytelling and song to explore what it means to be a citizen: of one's city, one's country, and the world. It's a collaboration among Steppenwolf Theatre, the Chicago Children's Choir, and Steppenwolf for Young Adults, featuring Steppenwolf ensemble members and other special guests. 6:30, Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park. Gapers Block Book Club Meeting

9th Annual "Bad Pants" Charity Golf Open
The 9th Annual "Bad Pants" Charity Golf Open will be held at Indian Lakes Resort in suburban Chicago, where hundreds of golfers from across the country wear their scariest golf pants while raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The "winner" of the scariest pants will receive a golf bag and set of irons courtesy of Indian Lakes Resort.
