In honor of Chicago Artists Month, artist Anthony Lewellen will be opening his garage studio at 5006 N. Keeler to the public from 1 to 5pm Saturday and today. Come check out new works, and purchase them from the man himself. Also, a special edition screen print will be run, signed and given away to visitors, an exclusive to this open studio.
Catch Chicago natives Keefe Jackson’s Fast Citizens, as they perform two sets to celebrate the release of their debut album on Delmark Records, Ready Everyday. The House Theatre has scheduled a talkback session after tonight's performance of Hatfield & McCoy at the Viaduct Theater (3111 N. Western) . The Chi*Town Sirens take on the Arch-Rival Roller Girls from St. Louis tonight at 7pm at the Lynwood Sports Center, 2030 Glenwood-Dyer Road in Lynwood, IL. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased on the Sirens' website or at the door. The Cobra Lounge, 235 N. Ashland, will be holding a pre-bout party, and shuttle buses to the match will leave from the bar starting at 5pm.
