The Hideout hosts the premiere of the Chicago Short Film Brigade, a four-times-annually festival "curated to present the public with a diverse selection of international short films in a warm, social, non-academic, non-festival atmosphere." For the four-year birthday of their Sangageddon event at Smart Bar, Reverse Productions pulls out all the stops with an incredibly thick billing. Scheduled are DJ sets from godfather of hip-hop Afrika Bambaataa and cut-n-paste mixmeister Steinski. The Chicago Architecture Foundation launches its new exhibit on Frank Lloyd Wright's Price Tower with this talk by guest curator Anthony Alofsin about the design process used for the tower. 6 PM. The Chicago Architecture Foundation presents this exhibit about Frank Lloyd Wright's Price Tower, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, through 29 April. The exhibit tells the story of the building's design and construction with letters, photographs, and other documents, and also displays components of the building itself, including textiles and furniture. 224 S Michigan.
