Practice Space @ Schubas With The 1900s
Schuba's Practice Space series every Monday (one band per month) has become a showcase for Chicago bands with a credible buzz surrounding them and February residents the 1900s are no exception. Under the Influence of Giants is one of the better disco-rock hybrids to emerge in the wake of the epic torch-dropping that was the second Scissor Sisters album. Plus the bass player looks like a straight-up lumberjack. What's not to love?
