Lit Gangs of Chicago: Instant Theatre

This month, the Museum of Contemporary Art hosts Instant Theatre in their Literary Gangs of Chicago series. Tonight, Instant Theatre's company actors will perform eight themed micro-plays. Free from 6:30-8pm at 220 E. Chicago Ave. Call 312-280-2660 for more information.

Anti-War Rally

If you're critical of the Iraq War but have never taken part in an anti-war action, now it's even more important than ever to participate. On March 20th, the M20 Coalition is organizing a protest against the war and occupation of Iraq. At 6:00 pm, the group will assemble and 24 W. Walton Street and then proceed down Michigan Ave. to Daley Plaza.

Black Book Advance Screening

Nerve.com and Sony Pictures Classics present an advance screening of Black Book, a WWII period piece set in Nazi-occupied Holland, tonight at 7pm at Landmark Century Cinemas, 2828 N. Clark St. It's free, but you have to RSVP here to get in.

This Moment In Black History @ Ronny's

Cleveland's long-running purveyors of frantic, chaotic post-garage return tonight to blow all unsuspecting eardrums. Conjuring the voice and soul of the New York Dolls along with the kamikaze energy of contemporaries, The Fatal Flying Guilloteens, This Moment In Black History hold court tonight at beloved Logan Square hideaway Ronny's. Locals Feelium open and Hot Cross finish out the evening. Show starts at 8:00pm and costs $7.

Menomena @ Empty Bottle

Pitchfork-acclaimed indie rockers Menomena roll into the Empty Bottle tonight, drifting into town after several performances at SXSW. They'll be joined by English trio Field Music and some Canadians collectively known as Land of Talk. 9 pm. $10. For more information call 773-276-3600.
