The Distance of the Moon @ Uptown Writer's Space

BoyGirlBoyGirl (Chicago authors/actors Edward Thomas-Herrera, Stephanie Shaw, David Kodeski & Susan Karp) and the BGBG Ladies Auxiliary (Rachel Claff & Diana Slickman) present an evening of readings inspired by the Italo Calvino story "The Distance of the Moon". This Sunday from 1-4 PM, Sam's Wines & Spirits is throwing their 2007 Grand Tasting at the Downers Grove location. They'll have dozens of luscious reds and succulent whites representing vineyards from all across the globe. Chicago Green Festival @ McCormick Place

Part of the first Earth Month Chicago, this festival features an "eco-mall" with more than 300 exhibits, offering ideas for greener homes, greener food, greener finances, greener wardrobes, and greener careers; as well as more than 150 speakers, including journalists, activists, and entrepreneurs.
