Bubbles and Berries @ Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro

Feel like indulging yourself a bit? Head over to Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro for Bubbles and Berries! Champagnes and sparkling wines from across the globe combined with delicious summer strawberries equal a lovely decadent evening, especially with a chocolate fountain to cover up the strawberry nakedness. The Dollar Store @ Hideout

The Dollar Store, the monthly evening of readings and performances inspired by dollar store finds, happens tonight at The Hideout (1354 W. Wabansia). Featured in tonight's show: Neo-Futurist founder Greg Allen; Amy Guth; and Emerson Dameron. The show starts at 7:00 PM, and admission is $1. See the Dollar Store Website for more information.

Midnight Yoga @ Bloom Studio

Looking for an interesting alternative to the loud, smoky bar scene? Do something good for yourself and participate in a candlelight yoga class accompanied by live music. Movies in the Park: Open Season @ Touhy Park

The Chicago Park District presents Movies in the Park, a summer-long screening of classic and contemporary films in Chicago parks. Tonight the 2007 schedule kicks off with a screening of the 2006 movie Open Season. The screening starts tonight at dusk in Touhy Park (7348 N. Paulina). The screening is free and open to the public. The Rosebuds @ Subterranean

Raleigh NC's power couple The Rosebuds bring their style of dance pop to the smoky confines of the Subterranean this evening. On their new record Night of the Furies, the guitar driven throwback pop of their earlier LPs is replaced by more synth driven dance that recalls the best of the '80s dial. Chicago Gospel Festival @ Millennium Park

The free music season at the Pritzker Pavilion kicks off with this festival showcasing local, national, and international gospel artists. The music runs from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM this evening. For more information, visit the website.
