The Chicago Park District presents Movies in the Park, a summer-long screening of classic and contemporary films in Chicago parks. Tonight's screening: Over The Hedge (PG) at Beverly Park (2460 W. 102nd St.). The screening starts tonight at dusk, and is free and open to the public. The Gene Siskel Film Center presents a month-long festival of the films of David Lynch. Today's film is Lynch's mainstream work for Disney, 1999's The Straight Story.
