Movies in the Park
The Chicago Park District presents Movies in the Park, a summer-long screening of classic and contemporary films in Chicago parks. Tonight's screenings: Dreamgirls (PG-13) at Rainbow Beach & Park (3111 E. 77th St.); and Happy Feet (PG) at Graver Park (1518 W. 102nd Pl). The screenings start tonight at dusk, and are free and open to the public. For a complete schedule of movies check out the Chicago Park District Website.

The lineup is spectacular, the venue will be jumping, and, well, if you haven't planned to go, nothing here will sway you. Wu-Tang Clan headlines. Tickets still available. $41 or the VIP $121 with an impressive list of extras.
Playing With Your Food @ The Cultural Center
The City of Chicago would like you to get down and dirty (not that dirty -- it's a family event) with your food as part of the Chicago Summer of Play. Learn how to turn your food into art, whether it's veggies or baked goods, and stop by the Eli's Cheesecake sponsored cake walk to check out how the pros do it.
